A Bit About Me

Hi, I'm Ruisi. I graduated from Loughborough University in 2022, majoring in user experience design (MA). My undergraduate background is about computer science.


I like to explore the freshness of life, and so does design. Being able to engage in UX design and create new services/products in line with the development of the world makes me feel sober, delighted, and energetic.

Trainline Family (Industry project)

Trainline

Cooperate with Trainline, a British train booking company, to produce creative solutions for optimizing the family train travel experience.

  • Managing team members to assist members of different nationalities in working together. Using email contact, offline randomization, snowball sampling, and other methods, organize 5 members to recruit 15 target users willing to be interviewed within 2 days.

  • Participate in the design and implementation of user research programs. Using second-hand research, observation, self ethnography, structured interviews, and other methods to gain insight into user needs has been recognized by customers.

  • Responsible for planning the project process and promoting team members to develop four sets of conceptual plans within three weeks.

  • Report to the customer and adjust the design direction in a timely manner. Tested and iterated three prototypes, and completed a 43 page report, including [user research, product iteration, product design, prototype video, and executive summary].

Copup (Service Design)

Ford Fund Smart Mobility Challenge

To help developing communities establish humane relationships, a set of service designs has been produced to enable residents who cannot raise dogs alone to share the ownership of dogs. The project won the Highly Recommended Price in the Ford Fund Mobility Challenge.

  • To address issues such as' how to protect the rights and interests of pet dogs', experience processes are designed using second-hand research, desktop prototype testing, interviews, and physical storms, providing solutions for unexpected consequences.

  • Learn to critically evaluate the value of service concepts using customer value proposition maps, business model canvases, ecosystem maps, and more. The final service system links seven different types of stakeholders and integrates the products and services required for the pet dog breeding process.

Mount Zhongnan Rural B&B Mini App

Shanghai University Computer Application Ability Competition

Create a consumption scenario for Zhongnanshan homestay, linking experience, specialty purchase, and accommodation, and develop a WeChat applet through team collaboration. The project won the second prize in the Shanghai University Student Computer Application Ability Competition.

  • To find the vacant market of rural tourism, competitive product research, user interviews and other methods are used to build multiple scenarios such as homestay booking and folk activities to meet the consumer needs of users.

  • Design the overall style and operation process of the product, communicate with the members in charge of development, and realize the UI and interaction of 23 interfaces.
